JoeVintage has a unique collection of mid-century items that ranges from jewelry and books to home and office decor. They're speciality is portable typewriters dating from the 1930s to the 1980s. "We are passionate about all things Mid Century Modern and strive to bring you pristine pieces, all in excellent condition." JoeVintage opened shop in May of 2009.

Schwa offers vintage jewelry and handmade jewelry using vintage components as well as some vintage supplies. "The vintage jewelry at Schwa was almost always my grandmother's. Considering her taste, that's a good thing. All original pieces made with vintage materials are my creations." Carolynn opened Schwa in November of 2007 and is based out of Indianapolis, IN.

NerdNest offers up an eclectic mix of original vintage items and handmade journals and bookends using vintage materials including vinyl records. "We are two nerdy lovebirds nesting. Jake is a computer geek who dabbles in graphic design, web development, and photography. Megan is a book worm who fills up composition books and loves all things crafty." NerdNest opened in August of 2009 and is based out of Kansas City, MO.

RetroVintageBazaar offers a wide range of vintage items that span 150 years including; books, postcards, electronics, glassware and home decor. Andrea is a "lover of all things unique." "I enjoy going to flea markets, thrift shops, and yard sales. There is nothing like finding something at the bottom of an ugly pile of junk. Cleaning it up and finding a wonderful treasure!" RetroVintageBazaar opened in February 2010 and is based out of Debary, FL.

Based out of Denver, Colorado, GlassPanic offers a lovely selection of vintage house wares and home décor including some nice silver serving pieces and Pyrex dishes. The shop is run by Amy and Jeff who describe themselves as “amateur vintage hunters.” “We love finding new pieces and love the history associated with each piece.”

KentonCollectibles has a little bit of everything a vintage collector could want. They specialize in antiques, oddities and hilarities with an emphasis on ephemera and machine age wonders. Also available is a beautiful selection of vintage jewelry including some fabulous rhinestone brooches. They are based out of Portland, OR and have a Brick & Mortar shop there as well.

FireflyVintage is a beautiful vintage clothing shop. On offer is a wide selection of women’s clothing as well as some men’s and children’s clothing. The women’s selection ranges from party dresses and career wear to beachwear and also include accessories and shoes. Rita’s passion for clothing started at a young age, “as a little girl, I used to beg my mother to save the beautiful dresses she wore for me. She would laugh and tell me I would never want ‘those old things’ when I was old enough to wear them. She never guessed that those lovely 1950's fashions would be one of my life's greatest passions!”

Wonderful vintage fruit jars, kitchen and décor items, toys, prints from children’s books, and creative supplies such as doll heads mix beautifully at jinxxy, a new EVT member from Salem, Oregon. “I don't really consider most things under 40 years old vintage,” says Kat, the store’s owner. “There are a few exceptions, but most of my stuff will be pre-disco. Or at least, pre-New Wave.”

ZipZapKap offers more than 300 of the most wonderful patterns, from the 1930s through the 1990s--all wonderfully presented and with all the details you need. Based in Evanston, Indiana, the shop is "the work of a British girl who upped sticks for a Kentucky boy and became a weird English/American hybrid who can coexist peaceably with both iced tea and hot tea with milk."

The Etsy shop of So Sylvie represents 30 years as a collector and dealer in California. The fascinating fare includes an amazing collection of vintage and antique artwork not to be missed! Welcome New Member: Cowgirl Caities

Imagine a very old storefront, perhaps a wood-floor general store, virtually unchanged since the 19th Century. In the 21st Century, it's jam packed with antiques and oddities from days gone by. That's what a visit to Cowgirl Caities is like, an online emporium of 500 rare and beautiful treasures.

Her fare includes English antiques, kitchenware, toys, ephemera, metal bits and bobs--coming from homes in the backwoods of Wisconsin and London's East End, where Caitie and her father have been joyfully been collecting for years. It is impossible to choose one representative item, but these spectacular opera glasses caught my eye first (worth the visit for the wealth of information included in her listing).

And let's all wish Caitie a very happy (and lucky!) birthday coming up one week from today: on 10-10-10! It's going to be a very special day!

You would be hard pressed to find a more eclectic Etsy Vintage shop than that of Heidi, proprietress of Nachokitty. In fact, it's impossible to choose just one item that represents her selection! My personal favorite is this swell California Pottery double vase, but her inventory of 300+ treasures ranges from toys and books to housewares, jewelry, ephemera and architectural items. It's one stop vintage shopping!

As an estate liquidator for many years, she has an extensive knowledge of vintage and antiques, and her attention to research is very impressive.
