The shop carries everything from great Mid-Century kitchenware and home decor items, metalware, books and more, including things like this great little replica of an old washing machine, complete with a tiny wringer.
Got Kitsch? DandelionGirl does! There are Tiki and 50s Atomic items, roosters, funky souveniers, an whole section of owls (owls are HOT), and if you're a Fire King or Pyrex fan, there is an entire section devoted to that too!
Below are just a few of the fun vintage things you will find at the DandelionGirl shop. You have to really go there and look through the whole shop to see the scope of great merchandise:
Here you have vintage souveniers from Budapest, Ireland and a great little wooden change tray from Australia with a tiny metal kangaroo accent. (perfect for your favorite 'Aussie-Man' or fan), a wooden knife holder with a rooster design and an extremely cool wall plaque with a jester in 3D!
Next is something I personally am nostalgic about. My grandmother had a set of rosette irons like these, and I still remember how great they were. The irons are dipped into a batter,(similar to funnelcake batter) and dunked into hot oil for a few seconds. You then pop them off the iorns and they're thin and crispy; you then add a dusting of powdered sugar and they're incredibly good! These irons can be yours for only $10, or if you win the gift certificate today, you just pay shipping!
If you would like to win a $10 gift certificate from DandelionGirl (and who wouldn't?), just go to the shop, pick out something you love, then come back to this post and leave a comment with a link to the item and your e-mail address. This evening, one winner will be chosen at random from all the entries who will win a gift certificate from DandelionGirl!
There are more than 30 member shops participating in this huge event and the featured shop changes daily, so check back often to see who's next! One entry per person, per day, and EVST members are not eligible to enter. For more details, go here:
Just to tease you a little bit more, I'll leave you with a few more things from DandelionGirl. Here, a pair of vintage Fire King mugs with the 'Esso Tiger' (now known as Exxon), a beautiful miniature patio furniture set and for the train enthusiast, a great vintage aluminum serving tray with a train motif--Enjoy!

Love this mini toy. Wonderful! I used to help my neighbor wash her clothes and use a wringer like this -- I did it for the fun of it!
