If you're a collector of vintage teapots or dinnerware, the shop has several beautiful examples, like the one below with the ever-popular 'Cattail' design:
Cattail was used by many different potteries in the 1930s & 40s, most notably by Universal and potteries in the Ohio area. It was used on everything from dinnerware, glass and kitchenware, to linens and even kitchen furniture. This pot was made for the Sears Roebuck company and has a great Art Deco transitional shape.
Are you looking for a great gift for your favorite sewing or quilting friend? 'Linenslaceandlattes' also makes beautiful Christmas stockings made with vintage fabric, filled with vintage sewing notions and trimmed with bright red vintage buttons--a charming keepsake gift that anyone would treasure!
If you would like to win a $10 gift certificate from 'linenslaceandlattes', just go to the shop, pick out your favorite item, come back to this post and leave a comment with a link to the item and your e-mail address. This evening, one winner will be chosen at random from the entries received today, who will win the gft certificate to be used for anything in the shop! Don't forget to include your e-mail address so we can contact you if you win. One winner, per person, per day, and EVST members are not eligible to enter. For complete details, go here.
There are more than 30 wonderful EVST members shops participating in this event, so check back every day to see who tomorrow's featured shop is! A complete list of participating shops is at right.
A big 'Congratulations' to 'rustybug' who won yesterday's gift certificate to the abbysrelics shop!
Happy Shopping, and Good Luck!
