The Colors of Spring

After declaring honeysuckle pink the color of the year, Pantone has now come out with a complete palette for spring fashion. As usual, they had some fun naming the colors; coral rose is neither coral nor rose, but orange; and peapod—a muted greenish shade—looks more like a swimming pool than something you’d eat.

But enough of semantics. The vintage-loving fashionista can get in on the fun as well. Here are some lovely pieces in my five favorite colors from the Pantone 10.

Regatta
1960s dressing robe from thedabara
Coral Rose
1960s dress slip from hautecountryvintage

Silver Peony
1950s kitty bombshell robe from JoJosRetroandVintage
Russet
1970s leather trench coat from TimeandAgainFashions

Honeysuckle
1970s Thai silk gown from Jonquil

GREAT post!!! IMHO, wearing vintage in trendy colors is the perfect way to be fashionable, but not in the "mall rat" mentality.
