Teen Vogue: Holiday Gift Guide

Today's teens have had the 'Three R's' drilled into their heads since kindergarten: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Most of them have learned that lesson well, whether they are taking charge of the household recycling or shopping green, the Three R's are a part of their everyday lives. This mindset extends to fashion and fun as well. It's stylish to be eclectic, and nothing sets you apart from the crowd better than a truly unique vintage clothing and accessories. Vintage can be fun too: posters, decor and toys.
This Vintage Gift Guide was selected by my teenage daughter, Katie, who has been traipsing through second-hand stores and antique shops her entire life as well as fashionably accessorizing from the household hoard of vintage jewelry and goods.

Makes me want to be a teen again. Well at least if I didn't have to have the teen angst. 8-)

My daughter, Katie, had fun picking the items for this gift guide treasury. I have to say some of her picks surprised me, so I'm grateful I had her make all the choices. Among the items that didn't make the treasury (due to repeat sellers) were an old magnus chord organ, many more glasses and sunglasses, and a vintage fisher price record player!
