DimeStoreVintage who's motto is "Rescued Vintage to make you smile", has an eclectic mix of playful vintage items that are indeed reminiscent of an old fashioned dime store. Janis and Randy "have been rummaging through garages, back yards and even dumpsters (!) to bring ajunkin' pile of goodness for you to rescue and reuse." They are based out of Minnetonka, Minnesota and also have handmade wood signs and ampersands available.
TheVintageReader offers Vintage books, magazines, cookbooks, comic books, pamphlets and advertisements.
Bumperstickersnmore Specializes in vintage bumper stickers but also features vintage books, maps and coloring books. As Debbie says in her profile: "Most of the cool old paper ephemera in my shop come from an old stash that I found in the upstairs attic of an old barn/workshop on a property I purchased a couple years ago. Lucky for me everything had been preserved just as it had been left in the eighties." You can take a virtual cross country road trip through her shop and remember vacations long past.
AddVintage is the duo of longtime friends Michele Piccolo and Yvonne Barineau. "We're vintage gals who love vintage stuff. Between the two of us we've been in the antique textile and embellishment business for over 25 years." Based out of Houston, Texas they specialize in vintage buttons but also feature cotton trim and lace, jewelry findings and other hard-to-find items.

Fresh Picks: So Sew!
Around this time every year, Mom began sewing my back-to-school dresses. Beginning in 7th grade, I created my own new fall outfits. Today my sewing machine is hidden in a dark closet corner, but seeing these fabulous vintage patterns and notions…I’m itching to go again. Even if you don’t sew, the addition of vintage buttons or trim gives a ho hum piece fresh vintage style!

Welcome New Members: No Snow Supplies and Yesterday's Silhouette
No Snow Supplies is the Etsy shop of Zivile from Lithuania. It features a fascinating array of vintage beads, charms, cabochons, buttons and findings--all of which are new old stock! While much of her collection comes from Western Europe and Japan, Zivile also has crafting and jewelry supplies from the old Soviet Union, including these sweet teal blue buttons.
Yesterday's Silhouette welcomes "fellow lovers of the thingamajigs, doohickeys and whatnots of yesteryear." Laura is from just north of NYC and offers vintage jewelry, clothing, ephemera, collectibles and an oddity or two! She also has a wonderful selection of antiquarian books, including this amazing 1920s set of eight volumes in the "Honey Bunch" series. We're thrilled to have such variety in vintage goods and in geography represented on the Etsy Vintage Team. Welcome!

The Etsy Vintage Team has quite a few talented artisans who create new heirloom treasures using vintage components. Behr Essentials, a mother/daughter team from Pennsylvania, is a wonderful example! They create "vintage renewal" ooak jewelry by reinventing broken or mismatched pieces.
