When I was a youngster (back in the late 60s/early 70s) our favorite after meal treat was an ice cream cookie sandwich. Just take a cookie (home baked are best, but packaged will do); add a generous scoop of ice cream, top with another cookie...and...INSTANT HEAVEN!!!

What's good to keep in mind is the value of old scoops and ice cream related items. Some old scoops are worth a ton. Always research before selling! :)
ReplyDeleteI have this same scoop - I love it. Memories of days gone by in the old soda fountain-type restaurants. Ours was called Sutters and my favorite thing to get was a phosphate or ice cream soda. Youu can't find either one anywhere now. Yep, showing my age. Thanks for sharing.
